Gregor S.P. Vos (1967) was educated at the Universities of Amsterdam and London. After having earned his degrees, in 1994, Gregor was admitted to the Bar and until 1997 he has practiced as an intellectual property litigator at Houthoff Buruma. From 1997 to 1999, Gregor has worked as trade marks manager at the Corporate Trade Marks department of Unilever, subsequently returning to private practice with NautaDutilh where he became partner in 2002.
Gregor is a highly regarded IP litigator with a practice that has an emphasis on patents and trademarks. He has successfully litigated a large number of high profile multinational trademark cases. Gregor also has extensive experience with proceedings before European administrative and judicial bodies such as the European trade mark office (OHIM) and the European Court of Justice. His represents a number of well-known trade mark owners in various industries, such as foods, house hold cleaning and fashion. Gregor has also been involved in complex litigation in various fields of technology such as mechanics, chemistry and bio-technology. In addition, Gregor is an experienced litigator in the field of advertising and more specifically, pharmaceutical advertising.
Gregor is a member of the editorial board of the BMM Bulletin, the magazine of the Benelux Association of Trade Mark and Design Law and is an active member of INTA and Marques. Gregor regularly publishes in legal reviews and is an active lecturer for various professional organizations.
